I am writing on behalf of Trowbridge Mosque Management Committee to
invite you to our Mosque open day.
The encounter will open the doors for Muslim and non Muslim
acquaintances to learn more about Islam and the Muslim community. This
will also help remove any wrong perceptions some members of the
community may hold.
May I request you to forward this invitation to your members.
Families are welcome.
Dress Code for visiting the Mosque.
Women are required to wear a long skirt, or trousers with a full sleeves
top. Women also need to cover their head upon entering the Mosque. Head
Scarves are available at the Mosque.
Men don't need to cover their head but are required to dress modestly.
Trousers and a shirt or tee shirt would be OK, no shorts.
The dress code is not unique to the mosques. Those of you who have
visited St Mark's Basilica (Catholic Church). At the entrance men are
told to remove hats and that their shorts/trousers should at least reach
their knees. Women are told to cover their head, shoulders, and upper

The Churches Together in Devizes are holding their annual Lent Lunches again, to help support Christian Aid and CAFOD via the donations received for the nutritious food on offer. Different soups are provided each Thursday by the teams of volunteers drawn from all CTD member churches. A visual 'Thought for the Day' will be on display at each Lunch.
