Was about to close... has now reopened
There have been two very useful meetings.
At the AGM the Committee was voted in and is ready to tackle the various gaps and paperwork. In particular, we’re needing a new Co-ordinator, to shadow through the summer months and take over in September. The Committee is drawing up the job spec and possible salary for this role. Anyone interested would need to be able to work very flexibly and some Saturdays.
We are delighted with the progress we’ve made. The Centre re-opened for existing families on 22nd April.

Devizes Child Contact Centre has provided a neutral place where children of separated families can enjoy contact with their non-resident parents, and sometimes other family members in a comfortable and safe environment, for 17 years.
About ten volunteers take turns on a rota on Saturday afternoons
The Centre is open for two hours on a Saturday afternoon, twice a month in a hall of one of the Devizes Churches. Volunteers prepare the room, welcome parents and supervise the sessions. Each volunteer does 3 or 4 sessions in 6 months. There are always three volunteers at each session. Training is given.
